Service Scope

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in children. Symptoms include inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, or a combination, leading to academic and social difficulties. Untreated ADHD may contribute to low self-esteem and emotional issues.

  • Mood Disorders in Adolescents

Common mood disorders in youth include depressive and anxiety disorders. While childhood depression is less common, its prevalence rises during adolescence, particularly among girls. Anxiety disorders in this group include generalized anxiety, phobias, social anxiety, and separation anxiety.

  • Learning Disabilities

Learning disabilities involve significant difficulties in acquiring or using skills (e.g., reading, writing, math, reasoning) despite normal intelligence. These challenges hinder academic performance.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

ASD is a developmental disorder affecting social communication, language, emotional regulation, and behavior. Repetitive behaviors and resistance to change are common, impacting learning, daily life, and social interactions.

  • Eating Disorders in Youth

Similar to adults, eating disorders in adolescents stem from distorted body image and unhealthy eating patterns (e.g., anorexia, bulimia), with severe physical and psychological consequences.
